Not Cho Wedo

Not Cho Wedo “Wedo” was bred, born and raised in Lamar,Colorado. As a long two-year-old he was purchased to be ranched and roped on by todays consignor, Jesse Jolly. He is a sound, sturdy, and gentle gelding that any level rider can get along with. He is regularly used by a several family members ranging in age from 8 to 78 years old. One of the neatest attributes of this horse is that he’s gentle enough for a beginner/amateur rider to compete on, but has all the tools to go and win at a high level as well.
This gelding has been hauled and won on at ranch rodeos across the country and he is also ready to go in the heeling and breakaway. He is used daily on a working ranch to complete jobs such as gathering, sorting, dragging calves to the fire, roping, doctoring, and loading cattle. With a solid background in cutting and sorting, Wedo would excel in team penning, ranch sorting, or ranch cutting competitions. He has big stop and is very light in the bridle. He has a calm quiet demeanor in the roping box as well as when he is being caught and saddled. This horse travels very well outside and is sure footed, as he is used daily in very rough terrain. There’s no day too long or trail too windy or steep for Wedo.
Wedo’s grandsire on the maternal side, BIG SWING, earned nearly $92,000 in the NCHA. He has also had over a half-dozen offspring compete and collect multiple ranch rodeo world championships in the WRCA in Amarillo, Tx.
His grandsire on the paternal side, HIGH BROW CAT, is no newcomer to the performance horse industry. The all-time leading cutting horse sire, whose offspring have earned $86 million to date, continually passes down great minds and athleticism.
