`Chocolat Chip Code, or "Floyd" as we call him is a 2018 own son of Electric Code and out of a mare that goes back to Smart Chic Olena. Electric code needs no introduction, he has NRHA earnings of $215,000+ and was the #1 NRHA money earner in 2008. Floyd stands at 14.2 hands, with good bone and hard feet. He is easy on the eyes with his rabicano coloring, keen head and stout build. From beginners to professionals, this versatile gelding can be enjoyed in many different disciplines. Floyd carries his reigning license and is as broke as they come. He will plus any maneuver, he has a flawless spin, deep sliding stop and an effortless short lope that is very smooth. He is very soft in the face and moves off of leg pressure with ease. Floyd has been the kids' favorite horse, they all fight over who gets to ride him. Kids of all ages have enjoyed showing him in 4-H, riding him in the mountains and working cattle on him. He is very sure footed, we have ridden him in the steep mountains, over downfall, through thick brush, over bridges, through deep waters and he never hesitates over anything. He rides out alone quietly or go out with a group of any size and he will be happy wherever you place him. Floyd is very difficult to spook, he is not bothered by wildlife, tarps, flags, whips, traffic, machinery or anything of the sort. Floyd is also making an extremely nice heel horse, he is quiet in the box, very easy to rope on and finishes each run with his big stop. We have ridden him countless miles on the ranch, he has branded calves, shipped, sorted and doctored cattle. He has a great work ethic and will go all day without a single complaint. Floyd reads a cow well and is really fun to sort on out on the ranch. He is extremely kind, he is easy to catch, haul, clip, bathe, shoe, stands tied quietly and turns out with other horses well or is happy in his own stall.
